Hamburger and Hot dogs will be served at 6:00 p.m. , Please be on time and in your uniform.

There will be a sign-up sheet for upcoming Harvest Festival Cub Scout Booth. We will be accepting money for t-shirts and Popcorn sales.

Its Popcorn Time!

Cub Scouts from Our Lady of Las Vegas' Pack 99 have kicked off their 2008 Trail’s End Popcorn Sale. The annual fundraiser is their largest of the year, and the Scouts depend on sales to fund their yearly activities. This annual fund-raiser aligns with one of the goals of Scouting—to teach youth within the organization how to become self-reliant. Through this popcorn sale and other fund-raising projects, we have the opportunity to teach Scouts how they—along with the combined efforts of other Scouts—can help make the world a better place.

Pack 99 will be selling popcorn after 4:30 Saturday Mass on October 4th and after each Mass on Sunday the 5th then we will be back the following weekend on the 11th and the 12th. Please support our Cub Scouts by purchasing popcorn.

2008 Fall Green Up at the Las Vegas Wash
September 27, 2008

With over 60 Participants, pack 99 Cub Scouts and their parents braved the hot, humid weather and helped plant trees and shrubs across several acres of land at the Las Vegas
Wash during the bi-annual Green Up on Saturday, September 27, 2008.

Lunch was provided by Memphis Barbeque for all in attendance, then everyone traveled on shuttle buses to our planting site. Southern Nevada Water Authority supervisors gave instructions on how and where to plant several different kinds of native small shrubs and mesquite trees.

It was a really hot day but everyone worked hard, drank plenty of water and we were finished quickly. The plants we planted will help beautify the area and prevent erosion near the Las Vegas Wash.

Thank you to all our Cub Scouts, Leaders and parents who attended and worked so hard to enhance our local environment. You did a terrific job.
